Photography Competition – Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm

Noah’s Ark has launched a brilliant new photography competition which gives budding photographers the chance to get up close and personal with exotic animals.

Enter our photography competition today and you could win a chance to go wild and photograph the animal of your choice. Winners will also get free day tickets to the zoo and their photography will be used in our promotional material for 2013, which would be an awesome addition to your portfolio or CV!

All you have to do to enter is to send us your best photos of Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm. Whether you were here in rain or shine, on an educational school trip or a keeper experience, send us the photos that you think best capture the essence of our farm zoo in Bristol.

To give you an even better chance of winning we have created three categories for both the adults and the children’s competition which are as follows;

Adult Photography Competition Category:

1. Best animal picture
2. Funniest photo
3. “Noah’s Ark in a picture” (a photo that best sums up Noah’s Ark)

Children’s Photography Competition Category (under 16’s):

1. Best animal picture
2. Funniest photo
3. Best play area or animal hands on picture.

Prizes:

Stage 1- One winner from each group (6 finalists) will be chosen and the finalists will receive a day ticket for two adults to Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm. Each person will then be submitted into stage 2.

Stage 2- The finalists will be entered to win a photography experience with the animal of their choice. There will be two winners – one from each category (adult and children’s). The chosen winner’s photo will be used by Noah’s Ark for marketing in 2013 and the picture will be put up on site. The winners will also win day tickets to the zoo.

Terms and Conditions:

  • The deadline for the competition is Friday August 31 2012.
    All photographs must be taken at Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm.
    All animals must be from Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm.
    Please submit only one photo per category e.g. one best animal picture, one funniest photo. You can enter one or as many categories as you like but please choose only one picture for each.
    Photographs must be submitted to Noah’s Ark via email info@noahsarkzoofarm.co.uk and in a jpeg format under 2 MB. Please provide your name, age (if a child) and contact email and telephone number. Please clearly write which category you are entering e.g. ‘Adult- Best Animal Picture’, ‘Child- Funniest photo’.
    Photos may be posted by users on to Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm’s Facebook page but will be closely monitored.
    Once submitted, Noah’s Ark has the permission to use these images for all marketing purposes and add them to the Noah’s Ark Facebook page, website and on marketing material.
    The group – “Noah’s Ark in a picture” can be from any aspect of Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm e.g. play areas, animal handling, landscape, events etc.
    The group- “Best play area or hands or animal hands on picture” should feature a person/ people.
    Please make sure that you have the permission of any persons photographed. Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm will not be held responsible.
  • Names will not be released by Noah’s Ark of the subject in the picture, only the competition winner’s names.
    Please keep pictures appropriate, any inappropriate pictures will be disqualified and the user banned from our Facebook page.
